U.S.
President Barack Obama ˙ (Barack Obama) has stressed that the success of solar
energy in the United States, is that countries can stifle economic development
under the condition of a classic example of action on climate change.
In
the Philippines in 18, the APEC (APEC) CEO summit speech, Obama called for
global concerted action on climate change issue, stressed before the upcoming
Paris COP21 talks to an ambitious agreement.
Obama
said his main message is that due to the progress of clean energy technology,
action on climate change means the limit point of economic development is now
redundant.
"Since
2005, even though our economic development, reduce the total amount of carbon
pollution in America more than any other country on earth. Other countries also
is accelerating."
Obama
also stressed that part of the private sector are realizing clean technologies,
such as the potential of solar energy, citing the big American companies, such
as Google (Google), Apple (Apple), and wal-mart (Walmart), are now among the
biggest buyers of renewable energy.
Obama
said: "we must get rid of the said if we make an impact on climate change,
will slow development mentality."
He
stressed that recent climate agreement between China and the United States can
be used as evidence of the situation. "When President xi jinping (China)
and I meet, as the two largest emitters of our proposed agreement, I think that
is a very strong signal to other countries, we not only will it as a challenge,
is also a chance."
